BREAKING: Police Teargas Protesters At Eagle Square In Abuja

On Thursday morning, police operatives used tear gas to disperse a small group of #ENDBADGOVERNMENT protesters gathered around Eagles Square in Abuja.

The protesters had gathered despite the widely publicized court order approving the Moshood Abiola National Stadium as the designated protest location.

Upon spotting the group, police officers initially tried to persuade them to leave the area, but eventually resorted to firing tear gas to disperse the crowd.

Undeterred, the protesters continued to sing, display the national flag, and hold up placards, maintaining their determination to express their grievances.

Meanwhile, other protesters at the Moshood Abiola Stadium were seen in high spirits and were reportedly planning to move towards Eagles Square to join their counterparts, although security operatives had earlier prevented them from doing so.
