Police Arrest Protesters, Recover Some Looted Items In Kano (VIDEO)

Police operatives on Thursday arrested several protesters who looted the Barakat Store in Kano.

Participants in the ongoing nationwide protest had stormed the store, stealing various items, including foodstuffs.

What began as a peaceful protest quickly descended into chaos when security agencies deployed teargas to disperse the crowd.

The protest, organized to demand government reforms in response to the recent hardship in Nigeria, has seen tensions rise across the country.

In a trending video on X, policemen can be seen with some of the recovered items as they apprehended several looters.
