Nasarawa Governor Reveals Position On Paying N70,000 Minimum Wage

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa has expressed his readiness to implement a N70,000 minimum wage for civil servants in the state.

This was revealed by the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on public affairs, Comrade Peter Ahemba, during a media chat with the correspondents’ chapel.

Ahemba stated that Governor Sule has already approved the payment of the new minimum wage, which is expected to begin shortly.

Ahemba said: “Governor Abdullahi Sule is more than ready to pay the ₦70,000 minimum wage passed into law and accented to by the president Bola Ahmed Tinubu. His excellency Engineer Sule is committed to Workers welfare and the entire development of the state”.
