ABC Announce Date For Trump, Harris Debate

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and his Democratic opponent Kamala Harris are set to participate in a debate on September 10, as confirmed by the ABC network.

During a news conference at his Palm Beach, Florida residence on Thursday, Trump expressed his desire for additional debates on September 4 and 25.

He did not specify details such as whether these debates would include an audience, and it remains unclear if his campaign has formally proposed these dates to Harris’s team.

The Harris campaign has not yet responded.

Previously, Trump had hinted he might withdraw from the ABC debate, which was scheduled before Vice President Harris replaced President Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee less than three weeks ago, significantly altering the race.

The news conference marked Trump’s first public appearance since Harris announced Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate on Tuesday.
