BREAKING: Nigerian Governor Honoured As Africa’s Transformational Leader In Kigali, Rwanda

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has been honored with the 100 Most Notable African Leadership and Excellence Award, recognizing him as a Transformational Political Leader in Africa.

Dr. Kingsley Amafibe, who presented the award, lauded Lawal’s impressive achievements, highlighting his commitment to the people of Zamfara State as a key factor in earning this prestigious recognition.

The award was presented during the 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership and Business Summit, held from August 1st to 4th, 2024, in Kigali, Rwanda.

The summit brought together prominent figures from across the African continent, including former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr. Nuradeen Lawal Danmusa, CEO of Constrix; Rene Iloma Okpara, Executive Director of Operations at Fairmont Petroleum Limited; Dr. Samira Buhari; Dr. Nabhit Kapur; Dr. Noah Nuhu; Dr. Gazzali Buhari; Senator Dr. Aplonia Munzverengwi, Zimbabwe’s Minister of State; Professor Smelly Dube, Group CEO of Rivervalley Group; Queen Vickylextar Beatrice Naa Manye Fofo Okang Sowah of Omanye Kingdom; and Michael Leslie Bartlett-Vanderpuye, Group Chairman of M&C Group Global, among others.

The summit featured a diverse array of CEOs, policymakers, bankers, industry experts, and innovators.
