Emeka Beke, the reinstated Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, has reaffirmed the membership of the 27 lawmakers from the Rivers State House of Assembly who left the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to join the APC on December 11, 2023.
Addressing journalists after a court ruling in his favor over Tony Okocha, who had been serving as caretaker chairman, Beke confirmed that Martin Amaewhule and the 26 other lawmakers, who are loyal to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, are legitimate members of the APC in Rivers State.
