Simon Ekpa, the factional leader of the separatist Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has been captured in a video jogging amidst rumours that he fled to South American country, Venezuela.
The video and the rumours of his fleeing to Venezuela is coming after the Finnish government pledged to collaborate with Nigeria on the case involving Simon Ekpa who resides in Finland.

Elina Valtonen, Finland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, made this commitment during a press briefing in Abuja on Tuesday.
Ekpa, who leads a faction of IPOB known as Autopilot, advocates for the establishment of an independent Biafra, which would include Nigeria’s South-East and parts of the South-South regions.

He is also accused of inciting violence in Nigeria, particularly through a controversial sit-at-home order and attacks on security personnel.
In the video, Ekpa jokes with the rumours making rounds on social media of him leaving Finland and running to Venezuela.
Ekpa didn’t give his exact location in the video.
