A former Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Harford Oseke, has passed away at the age of 64.
He was from Umuawulu in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The exact circumstances of his death remain uncertain.
While some reports suggest that he collapsed during his regular exercise at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka on Monday, others indicate that he had been ill and in the hospital before the news of his death emerged.
He held a law degree and had recently completed his Ph.D. in Public Administration at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
Oseke’s political career began with the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). During Peter Obi’s administration, he won a seat in the Anambra State House of Assembly, where he initially served as Majority Leader before being elected Deputy Speaker.
