Ododo’s attendance at the PDP event has sparked curiosity among Nigerians, given that he had just secured a Supreme Court victory hours earlier.

The Supreme Court had dismissed the appeal of Social Democratic Party candidate Muritala Ajaka, who contested Ododo’s victory in the Kogi State governorship election.

Ajaka had challenged the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission after the November 11, 2023 election, but his petition was rejected at both the Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal and the Court of Appeal before being unanimously upheld by the Supreme Court.
