Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), has resigned from his position, submitting his resignation to President Bola Tinubu.

Abubakar revealed this to State House reporters on Saturday, shortly after his meeting with the President, noting that Tinubu was understanding of his decision.
