A video has has been trending online of a filling station that was reportedly caught using fuel pump to dispense fuel with the meter reading but no content was coming out of the nozzle of the pump.

Members of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) can be seen in the video at the scene of the incident.

The discovery was done by the visit of a team from NMDPRA to the fuel station.
Many Nigerians have been reacting to the video with most condemning the act of the fuel station to have a pump that doesn’t properly dispense fuel but reads like its dispensing proper fuel.
This is coming as Nigerians battle fuel scarcity.
