Board Speaks On ‘Immigration Service Recruitment’

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially disassociated itself from an online publication concerning recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).

This clarification was provided in a statement issued by the board’s secretary, Ja’afaru Ahmed, on Saturday in Abuja.

“The board wishes to inform the general public that the purported online publications did not emanate from the board and as such, should be disregarded.

“It also wishes to warn the members of the public to be wary of the activities of fake recruitment syndicates and racketeers,” it said.

The board confirmed that recruitment for the Federal Fire Service (FFS) is currently underway.

Shortlisted candidates will be notified of the next steps via telephone messages and emails provided during registration.
