An early morning fire has destroyed the red chamber of the Katsina Government House, which is connected to the governor’s office where he meets key figures.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage remain unclear.
At the time of the incident, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda was attending a zonal town hall meeting in Funtua to discuss community needs and aspirations.
