Former Vice President, Osinbajo Gets New Appointment

The Museum of Modern & Contemporary African Art London (MoMCAAL) has appointed former Nigerian Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as Chairman of its Board of Advisors.

The Advisory Board includes notable figures such as Franklin Kilbourn, Executive Chairman of Strauss & Co. in South Africa; Lamon Rutten, Board Member of Ajlan and Brothers in Saudi Arabia; Olufemi Akinsanya, Chairman of First Ally Capital; and Olusegun Andrew, Executive Chairman of MoMCAAL. Additionally, Mme Greer, OBE, will offer advisory services for the museum’s projects.

MoMCAAL is dedicated to celebrating African creativity and believes in art’s power to bridge divides, foster understanding, and ignite meaningful dialogue.

Founded and driven by Olusegun Andrew, the museum aims to highlight Africa’s rich artistic diversity by providing a platform for contemporary African artists across various mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, video, and installation.

Beyond exhibitions, MoMCAAL offers workshops, artist residencies, and educational programs designed to engage and inspire visitors of all ages.

The museum serves not just as a showcase for art, but as a vibrant center for appreciating and discussing African art and culture, promoting interactions among artists, scholars, and the community.
