Nollywood filmmaker Shina Sanyaolu has passed away.
Sanyaolu was a well-known producer and director in the Yoruba segment of the Nollywood industry.
As of the time of this report, the cause and circumstances of his death remain unclear.

Bolaji Amusan, President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, confirmed Sanyaolu’s death.
“Sleep well uncle Shina Sanyaolu,” he wrote on his Instagram page on Wednesday.
Reacting to the news, veteran actor Jide Kosoko noted that the late Shina Sanyaolu had a positive impact on many lives.
