The Police Service Commission (PSC) has announced the appointment of four new Commissioners of Police for the Abia, Lagos, Ebonyi, and Akwa Ibom State Commands.
These appointments follow recent promotions of senior police officers, which resulted in vacancies across several state commands.

The newly appointed Commissioners are:
– **Isah Danladi Nda** for Abia State Command
– **Olarewaju Ishola Olawale** for Lagos State Command
– **Anthonia Adaku Uche Anya, fdc** for Ebonyi State Command
– **Miller Gajere Dantawaye** for Akwa Ibom State Command
PSC Chairman, retired DIG Hashimu Argungu, emphasized the importance of the new commissioners making a significant impact on security management in their states.
He stressed that the Commission will closely monitor their performance and expects them to quickly begin their duties.
In a statement issued on Friday, September 13, by Ikechukwu Ani, Head of Press and Public Relations, Argungu urged the new Commissioners to focus on building a competitive, competent, and efficient Police Force in their respective postings. He also assured them of continued support from the Commission for optimal service delivery.
The appointments, approved and signed by Secretary to the Commission, Onyemuche Nnamani, have been forwarded to Inspector General of Police (IGP) Olukayode Egbetokun for implementation.
