Naira Records Another Depreciation, No Longer N1,645 Per Dollar

Yesterday, the Naira depreciated in the parallel market to N1,655 per dollar from N1,645 per dollar on Wednesday.

In the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM), the Naira also fell to N1,649.76 per dollar, compared to N1,558.75 per dollar the previous day, marking a N91.01 depreciation.

As a result, the gap between the parallel market rate and the NAFEM rate narrowed to N5.24 per dollar, down from N86.25 per dollar the day before.
