Vice president Kashim Shettima has arrived in Benin City the Edo State capital.
Shettima is in Benin City to grace the grand finale of the All Progressives Congress (APC) rally ahead of the Edo governorship election.

Shettima was received at the Benin airport by Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki.
APC governors and chieftains were also present at the airport to welcome the vice president.

The governorship election holds on September 21.
