Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Acting National Chairman Iliya Damagum, and several state governors have arrived in Benin City, Edo, for the Peoples Democratic Party’s final rally ahead of the September 21 gubernatorial election.

Among those in attendance are the Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum and Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, along with Governors Siminialayi Fubara of Rivers, Douye Diri of Bayelsa, Peter Mbah of Enugu, and Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, Governor Pastor Eno Umo of Akwa Ibom State, Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State, Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State.
The PDP leaders were welcomed at the airport on Saturday by Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki and the party’s governorship candidate, Asue Ighodalo.
