Real Reason Why I Will Not Support Obaseki, PDP Governorship Candidate In Edo Governorship Election – Wike

As the September 21 Edo State governorship election approaches, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has announced that he will not be supporting Governor Godwin Obaseki.

In an interview on Channels Television’s *Politics Today* on Friday, Wike also stated that he would not support the PDP governorship candidate, Asue Ighodalo, who is endorsed by the outgoing Edo State Governor.

Wike further labeled the governor as an ingrate.

“I told them when they came to me that I am not going to support you, neither am I going to support anybody. The one I supported, it never helped anything. Rather I was insulted.

“I supported him the last time, what happened? I became a stupid man,” Wike said.
