BREAKING: Jackson 5 Legend, Tito Jackson Is Dead

Tito Jackson, an original member of the legendary Jackson 5 and the brother of the late Michael Jackson, has passed away at the age of 70. His death was confirmed by his sons in a poignant Instagram post on Monday, though the official cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

The Jackson family is grieving the loss of another music icon.

Tito was a key member of the iconic group, performing alongside his brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael, who passed away in 2009.

Steve Manning, a long-time friend and former manager of the Jackson family, confirmed Tito’s death to Entertainment Tonight.

His three sons—Taj, Taryll, and TJ Jackson, who performed as the R’n’B/pop trio 3T in the 1990s—shared their sorrow in an Instagram tribute. “We are shocked, saddened, and heartbroken,” they wrote. “Our father was an incredible man who cared deeply about everyone and their well-being.”

They added, “He will be missed tremendously. It will forever be ‘Tito Time’ for us. Please remember to do what our father always preached and that is ‘Love One Another.’ We love you, Pops.”

The Jackson 5 were celebrated for their hits including “ABC,” “The Love You Save,” and “I Want You Back.”
