President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja from the United Kingdom. His Airbus A330 touched down at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 10:40 p.m. local time on Sunday.
He was welcomed by high-ranking government officials, including Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.

President Tinubu had left Abuja for Beijing, China, on August 29, where he began his official visit on September 2 with a meeting with President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People.
He then traveled to London, where he discussed climate financing with King Charles III.
