List Of Those Who Accompanied, Welcomed Tinubu In Maiduguri

President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, to extend his condolences to the government and residents in the wake of the recent flood disaster.

The Nigerian President touched down at 3:40 pm and immediately visited an emergency camp to express his sympathy to those affected by the floods.

During his visit, President Tinubu assured the displaced individuals at the camp that his administration is committed to offering the necessary support.

“I want to assure you that we will support you. We will help you. God bless you,” Tinubu said.

President Bola Tinubu was accompanied on his visit to Maiduguri by several key officials, including Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Minister of Agriculture Abubakar Kyari, and Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Mele Kyari.

The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, was at the Maiduguri Air Force Base to welcome the President, having arrived earlier to inspect police facilities impacted by the flood.

Also present to welcome the President were Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Chairman of the Governors’ Forum and Governor of Kwara State; Bala Mohammed, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum and Governor of Bauchi State; Ahmed Ododo, Governor of Kogi State; and Ahmed Aliyu, Governor of Sokoto State.
