Civil Servants Seen Struggling To Buy 50kg Bag Of Rice At N40,000 In Abuja (VIDEO)

The video captures some civil servants in the nation’s capital, Abuja trying to buy 50kg bag Of rice made available by the federal government at N40,000.

In the video, the civil servants are seen on a long queue as they await a chance to be able to purchase the subsidized rice.

A 50kg bag of rice with good quality currently sells close to or above a hundred thousand in Nigeria.

The current high cost for the purchase of a bag of rice arose from the implementation of the economic policies of the President Tinubu led government.

Subsidy removal and the floating of the Naira were two economic policies introduced by President Tinubu.
