Nigerian R&B artist Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has moved to the United States with his family.
He announced the relocation on his social media platforms, sharing that he is pursuing a Master’s degree at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
In a post featuring a photo of himself, his wife, actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington, and their child at the airport, Banky W encouraged his followers to send their best wishes as they begin this new chapter in their lives.

In his Instagram caption, Banky W, on Monday, wrote, “For family. For finding purpose.
“For the next year of earning a Master’s degree in Policy Management at Georgetown University in Washington DC.
“Wish us well.”
Banky W was born in the United States and married actress Adesua Etomi in 2017.
The artist has contested for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in Lagos State multiple times but has not been successful in securing a win.
