Enzo Zidane, the eldest son of French football legend Zinedine Zidane, has retired from football at the age of 29, following a recent stint with Fuenlabrada in Spain’s Primera RFEF.

According to beINSPORT, Enzo has chosen to step away from the sport to focus on his business ventures, marking the end of a career that didn’t quite reach the anticipated heights.

Having spent over a decade in Real Madrid’s academy, Enzo made his first-team debut in November 2016 during a Copa del Rey match against Cultural Leonesa, under the management of his father, Zinedine Zidane.

He made an immediate impact, scoring a goal in that game.

However, despite the promising start, first-team opportunities became scarce, and Enzo eventually sought new challenges outside the LaLiga giants.
