‘Nowhere In Middle East Israel Cannot Reach’ – Netanyahu Sends Fresh Warning To Iran

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a new warning to Iran on Monday, asserting that there is no location in the Middle East beyond Israel’s reach, following a series of strikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

In a video statement delivered in English, Netanyahu addressed the Iranian people directly, cautioning that their government was leading them “closer to the abyss.”

“With every passing moment, the regime is bringing you — the noble Persian people — closer to the abyss,” said Netanyahu.

“There is nowhere in the Middle East Israel cannot reach,” the prime minister added, warning the people of Iran that their “regime plunges our region deeper into darkness and deeper into war”.

“Don’t let a small group of theocrats crush your hopes and your dreams,” Netanyahu said.

In recent days, Israel has intensified airstrikes in Lebanon, targeting the “Axis of Resistance,” a network of Iran-backed militant groups operating across the region, including in Syria, Yemen, and Iraq.

On Friday, an Israeli strike in Beirut reportedly killed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, a Lebanese militant group that has long been supported by Iran.

Iran has vowed to retaliate, especially after the death of Abbas Nilforoushan, a senior commander of the Quds Force, the foreign operations wing of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, who was killed alongside Nasrallah.

In a recent video statement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed hope for a future in which Israel and Iran would coexist peacefully, suggesting such change could happen sooner than expected.

He emphasized that a free Iran would bring about a time when the two countries could be at peace and Iran would prosper.

Meanwhile, Iran’s foreign ministry reiterated that there were no plans to deploy additional Iranian forces to engage directly with Israel.

Spokesman Nasser Kanani affirmed that groups in Lebanon and the Palestinian territories were sufficiently capable of defending themselves.

Earlier, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian paid tribute to Nasrallah at Hezbollah’s office in Tehran, while Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed that Nasrallah’s death would not go unpunished, urging the “Axis of Resistance” to remain steadfast against Israel’s actions.

Khamenei underscored that Lebanon would ensure the aggressors face consequences for their actions.
