Gunmen on Wednesday abducted and killed the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Suru Local Government Area of Kebbi State, Alhaji Bako Bala.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Special Adviser to the Kebbi Governor on Television and Radio, Alhaji Zaidu Bala Kofa Sabuwa, the armed men kidnapped Bala in his hometown, shot him, and left him in a pool of bl00d.
Bala was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in Birnin Kebbi, where he sadly succumbed to his gunshot injuries on Wednesday.
