Accreditation and voting have commenced for the Rivers State local government election in the Ikoku area (units 14 and 15) of Port Harcourt City.

The Rivers Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) previously announced that all preparations were in place for today’s election.

Tobin Tamunotonye, RSIEC Commissioner for Public Affairs and Civic Education, confirmed that sensitive materials have been distributed to various locations.
