BREAKING: Voters Accuse Police Of Disrupting Results Collation In Port Harcourt

There was a minor disruption during the local government elections in Rivers State.

At the collation center for Ward 19, Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, voters alleged that police officers arrived, firing gunshots and using teargas.

Ballot papers were scattered near the entrance of the collation center.

According to voters who spoke to Channels Television, the voting process had already been completed, and counting was finished before the disruption occurred.

No police officers were present at the scene to provide their side of the story when the source arrived.

However, the Rivers State Police Command has stated that they will issue an official statement regarding the incident.
