BREAKING: Winners, Losers Emerge In Results Of 22 Chairmanship Positions In Rivers LG Election

The Action People’s Party (APP) has secured 22 out of 23 chairmanship positions in the recently concluded local government elections in Rivers State.

Justice Adolphus Enebeli, the Chief Election Officer of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC), announced the results on Saturday in Port Harcourt.

However, the announcement for Etche Local Government Area has been suspended as collation of results is still ongoing.

Justice Enebeli noted that the outcome for Etche LGA, along with the results for the 319 councillorship seats, will be declared at a later date.
