Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has vowed to take decisive action against those responsible for the burning of three local government secretariats on Monday.
He emphasized that this incident will not be overlooked, as his administration will work closely with security agencies to identify and hold the perpetrators accountable.
Governor Fubara made these remarks during the swearing-in ceremony for four new commissioners at the Executive Chambers in Port Harcourt.

He reminded the audience of his previous warnings to the new council chairmen about potential attacks and praised his supporters for remaining calm amid the violence.
Regretting that the recent political crisis has overshadowed his administration’s accomplishments, the governor announced plans to dedicate a day later this month to showcase these achievements.
