Governor Aiyedatiwa Approves Minimum Wage Above N70,000 For Ondo Workers

As the Federal Government approved a minimum wage of N70,000 for civil servants, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa announced on Saturday that his administration would implement a higher minimum wage of N73,000 for state workers.

Governor Aiyedatiwa emphasized his government’s dedication to the welfare of the people of Ondo State.

He made this declaration during the launch of his campaign in Ondo town, ahead of the November 16 governorship election.

While acknowledging the Federal Government’s N70,000 minimum wage approval, Aiyedatiwa stated, “Ondo will take it a step further by paying N73,000 to our workers.”

Addressing the large crowd of supporters, the APC governorship candidate urged them to turn their support into votes for the party, ensuring the continuation of developmental programs across the state.
