BREAKING: Super Eagles Set To Leave Libya After Airport Delay

The players and officials of the Super Eagles are preparing to leave Libya after experiencing a lengthy delay of more than 14 hours, along with reported mistreatment by the host country on Sunday.

This information was shared by a sports enthusiast named Pooja Media on his X account on Monday.

He wrote, “Super Eagles players and all officials are boarding to fly out of Libya to Nigeria. Thank God.”

Confirming this, a player, Bruno Onyemaechi, wrote, “Me and Libya, I don wash my hands commot. Nothing concerns me and una again. Thank God I’m going back.”

Before this, it was reported that Libyan authorities allegedly denied the Super Eagles’ chartered flight, ValueJet, permission and aviation fuel to return the players to Nigeria.
