Lagos DPO Slumps, Dies In Office

CSP Bolaji Olugbenga, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Ijanikin Police Station within the Lagos State Police Command, has passed away.

He reportedly collapsed in his office on Thursday night and died before he could be taken to a hospital.

His death has left officers at the station in mourning. A police officer from the division, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed that his body has been moved to a mortuary.

“He slumped in the office on Thursday and was quickly rushed to the hospital. But sadly, we lost him,” he said.
