Sanusi Speaks On Kano LG Election

The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has urged eligible voters in the state to participate in Saturday’s Local Government elections and choose their preferred candidates.

Speaking to reporters at his palace on Friday, he highlighted the need to avoid violence and any actions that could disrupt the electoral process.

He called on residents to maintain peace and refrain from violent behavior before, during, and after the elections.

Mr. Sanusi also urged parents to prevent their children from being used as agents of chaos and advised the community to ignore any miscreants looking to incite trouble.

He encouraged cooperation with the Kano State Independent Electoral Commission to ensure a smooth electoral process.
