How I Met, Married Ned Nwoko – Regina Daniels

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Regina Daniels recently shared the story of how she first met her husband, Ned Nwoko, a prominent lawmaker representing Delta North senatorial district.

Their marriage in 2019 drew significant public attention due to the 38-year age difference between them. Additionally, Mr. Nwoko had already been married five times prior to their union.

The couple’s relationship has since been a topic of fascination, with fans and critics alike watching their journey closely, often sparking both support and controversy.

In a live Instagram conversation with a friend on Monday, Regina, now 24, recounted meeting Mr. Nwoko by chance during a family outing.

“I was so angry, she admitted, referring to the family’s decision to go sightseeing. “Why will all of us visit and go sightseeing? But when I got there, I met a cute man.

She added that marrying Mr Nwoko was entirely her own choice, dismissing speculations that her mother pressured her into the marriage. She disclosed that she had over twenty boyfriends before finally settling to marry the 62-year-old.

She said, “When I started with my husband, I even forgot I was supposed to have boyfriends because I had twenty boyfriends at that time, one to buy water and one to do other things.

“When people think I didn’t have a choice and when people think mummy forced me, not knowing that mummy was against the marriage and my entire family said no.”

In the same video, Regina noted that more details about her first encounter with the billionaire would be revealed later.

The lawmaker married the actress on May 26, 2019, in Aniocha Local Government Area, Delta State, and the couple now has two sons.
