In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Musa, this decision reflects the administration’s dedication to advancing workers’ interests and improving the living standards of the poor, vulnerable, and underserved communities across Kaduna State.

The move is also aligned with Governor Uba Sani’s long-standing commitment to protecting workers’ rights, enhancing their welfare, and supporting the poor and marginalized.

Furthermore, the statement announced that Governor Sani will introduce a Free Transportation Scheme for civil servants with the deployment of 100 CNG-powered buses.
These buses will facilitate commuting to and from work, aiming to alleviate workers’ hardships and boost productivity.
A Joint Management Committee, comprising representatives from organized labor (NLC and TUC) and the State Government, will be established to oversee the operation of the Free Transportation Scheme for civil servants.
