How Bobrisky Was Removed From Amsterdam-Bound Flight

A trending video on X shows social media personality Okuneye Idris, widely known as Bobrisky, being removed from an Amsterdam-bound KLM flight on Thursday night.

This came after social commentator Isaac Fayose, the brother of former Ekiti State Governor, shared a photo earlier on Thursday of himself with Bobrisky as they boarded the same flight to London.

“Look who’s on the same flight with me to London, @Bobrisky222,” Fayose shared on his Instagram handle.

In a viral video circulating on X, Bobrisky was seen being removed from a flight reportedly bound for London by airport officials.

Following his forced removal, the popular cross-dresser took to Instagram to inform followers of the situation, alleging that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was behind his detention.

He wrote, “Nigerians help me, EFCC just arrested me. I’m badly injured.”

The latest development follows his interception at the Sème border on October 22, where he was reportedly attempting to leave the country.

The controversy involving Bobrisky started in April 2024 when the Federal High Court in Lagos sentenced him to six months in prison for naira abuse.
