President Bola Tinubu has confirmed the death of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, who passed away at the age of 56.

A statement from the President’s spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, revealed that Lagbaja died on Tuesday night in Lagos following a period of illness.
