Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Trump’s potential return to the White House a “historic comeback” and a fresh chapter in the U.S.-Israel alliance. “Congratulations on history’s greatest comeback! Your return offers a new beginning for America and a powerful reaffirmation of the bond between Israel and the U.S.,” Netanyahu said in a statement.
China
As Trump’s lead grew, China expressed hopes for “peaceful coexistence” with the U.S. “We will continue to approach and handle China-U.S. relations based on mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation,” said foreign ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning. “We respect the choice of the American people.”
France
French President Emmanuel Macron congratulated “President Donald Trump,” emphasizing his readiness to work with him “with respect and ambition,” just as they had in the past.
