How Tinubu Was Received In Saudi Arabia When He Arrived For Joint Arab-Islamic Summit [VIDEO]

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday to participate in the Joint Arab-Islamic Summit.

He landed at King Abdulaziz International Airport at 10 a.m. local time, where he was welcomed by Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Bin Abdulaziz, the deputy governor of the Riyadh region.

The summit, convened at the invitation of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, will focus on the current situation in the Middle East.

According to presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, the meeting is set to address a range of critical regional issues, with particular attention on the ongoing Israel-Palestinian conflict.

President Tinubu is expected to deliver a speech on the crisis, reiterating Nigeria’s call for an immediate ceasefire and advocating for a peaceful resolution.

He will also seize the opportunity to call for renewed international efforts to revive the two-state solution as a sustainable path to lasting peace.

The summit is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 11, 2024.
