Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the ongoing election, has emerged victorious in his polling unit.

Aiyedatiwa, who is seeking to retain his position as governor, cast his vote at polling unit 5, Ugbo Ward 4, Obenla in Ilaje Local Government Area of the state.
At the conclusion of the voting, Aiyedatiwa secured 128 votes, defeating his closest rival, Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who garnered just 3 votes.
