According to a statement from Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the appointment followed a thorough selection process recommended by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
The new appointees are:
- Onwusoro Ihemelandu (Abia State)
- Ndiomu Philip (Bayelsa State)
- Anuma Nlia (Ebonyi State)
- Ogbodo Nnam (Enugu State)
- Kalba Usman (Gombe State)
- Usman Aminu (Kebbi State)
- Oyekunle Nwakuso (Rivers State)
- Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna State)
This marks the second round of permanent secretaries appointed by President Tinubu, following the first batch in June, which included appointees from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara, as well as the South East and South-South regions.
President Tinubu encouraged the new permanent secretaries to show enhanced commitment, diligence, and innovation
