Ortom Nominated For New Appointment

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) State Working Committee in Benue State has nominated former Governor Samuel Ortom as a member of the party’s Board of Trustees.

“After careful deliberation, the SWC under the chairmanship of Rt Hon Ezekiel Awulu Adaji unanimously endorsed you for the position, recognising your invaluable contributions to the party, your exemplary leadership, and your commitment to the ideals and progress of the PDP,” the spokesman said in the statement.

The state working committee stated that the new role is anticipated to boost the party’s influence and strategic direction as it prepares for the upcoming elections.

The party expressed confidence that Ortom’s contributions to the BOT will strengthen party unity in Benue and ensure that the state’s interests are effectively represented within the national framework.

“With this nomination, Chief Ortom is set to play a crucial role in shaping the policies and direction of the PDP, not only in Benue State but across Nigeria”, the statement partly read.
