What Will Reduce Boko Haram Insurgency Ravaging North East – Ndume

Ali Ndume, the senator representing Borno South, expressed confidence on Tuesday that the Boko Haram insurgency in the North-East would decrease with the addition of more attack helicopters.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Ndume emphasized that while the Nigerian Army has the capacity to defeat the terrorists, additional funding for the military is essential.

He highlighted that insufficient equipment and low morale among troops are significant challenges in the fight against terror.

Furthermore, he noted that the average soldier on the frontlines currently receives a daily allowance of just N1,500.
