Why Lagos-Calabar Road Project Is Not In 2025 Budget – Umahi

The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has revealed that the absence of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway from the 2025 budget was an error, despite concerns raised by operators about the project’s multi-billion naira cost.

In a video clip on X (formerly Twitter), the minister said, “What you have in the budget was Lagos-Port Harcourt Highway, it is supposed to be Lagos-Calabar Highway, so we are interfacing with the committee chairman in this regard.”
