“Part 1.2.1.5(b) of Nig. CARs provide the sanction for such fraud as revocation of the certificate.

“Consequently, their respective Air Operator Certificates OBA/AOC/12-15/002 and EAL/AOC/03-24/001 are hereby revoked.”

In October, an Eastwind Aviation helicopter crash-landed in the Atlantic Ocean, carrying eight people, with only one survivor.

Recently, Max Air also suspended its operations for three months after one of its aircraft crash-landed at Mallam Aminu International Airport in Kano.

The incident occurred when the plane lost its landing gear tire during landing.

However, the airline stated that the situation was well-handled, with crew members and passengers safely evacuated and no injuries reported.

The NCAA noted that Max Air’s suspension would allow the airline to review its internal operations.
