Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, expressed confidence that nothing would hinder his chances of winning re-election in 2027 if he chooses to run for a second term.
Governor Fubara made this statement on Tuesday during a solidarity visit by the three Local Government Areas of the Kalabari Ethnic Nationality, whose delegation had endorsed him for re-election, praising his leadership and dedication to infrastructural development, particularly the ongoing ₦200 billion Trans-Kalabari road project.
However, the governor emphasized that his administration is more focused on achieving meaningful progress in the state than on the length of time spent in office.
