Members of the Lagos State House of Assembly have expressed their confidence in Speaker Princess Mojisola Meranda, affirming their support for her continued leadership.
The motion was introduced by Oladipo Ajomale, the lawmaker representing Oshodi/Isolo 2, who stated that the Speaker was duly elected by the lawmakers and they believe she is the ideal leader for the House at this time.

The motion was seconded by Aro Moshood, another lawmaker, and was subsequently supported by the remaining 34 members, resulting in a vote of confidence for Speaker Meranda.
Additionally, all staff of the Assembly also demonstrated their support for her.
Following this, the House adjourned until further notice.
